Savory galettes and late summer Panzanella

Join us for an early fall evening of constructing galettes and panzanella, a traditional bread salad of Italy, from scratch. We’ll start by mixing the galette dough, learning the best techniques for making a flakey crust. Once constructed, we’ll add our chosen savory toppings (tomatoes, basil, cheese, etc.) and we’ll bake these off. As the galettes are baking, we’ll mix our panzanella using the best produce the late summer months have to provide; dry-farmed tomatoes, cucumbers, & peppers! At the end of the class, we’ll sit down to enjoy our creations together, with a bottle of wine or bubbly water- your choice!
