Spring Festival

Sunday, May 19th 10:30AM-1PM

Spring is here- let’s celebrate! Join us at our Westside shop where we’ll have live music, samplings of mini fruit cakes, and as always: a kids craft table. Come in and enjoy a pastry and some coffee while your kids make art while listening to a live band!

Upcoming Classes

  • Adult Brunch Fun

    Sunday, April 21st from 10am-12pm

Spring is here! Join us for a fun morning of baking brunch-time favorites, including frangipani galettes and lemon tea cakes. We’ll start by mixing the galette dough. We’ll also work through the process of making fresh frangipani from scratch. Once the galettes are constructed, we’ll mix batter for lemon tea cakes, a favorite here at Companion. You’ll go home 8-10 galettes and a loaf of tea cake to share with friends and family

  • Spring Pie Lab For Adults

    Tuesday, May 14th 5:30pm-7:30pm

It’s high time for pie time! In our Spring Pie Lab you will learn the essentials of pie baking. We will hone in on making an all butter crust, with a focus on how to achieve a flakey, sturdy dough that can be used for multiple pie fillings. We’ll practice our lattice-top weave, and mix in a delicious fruit filling.

  • Week 1 Kid's Baking Camp: Brunch Fun

Monday, June 10th, Wednesday, June 12th, and Friday, June 14th

We’ll kick off our summer baking camp series with pastries! This 3-day camp will include all of the fun breakfast-y brunch type favorites, including: tea cakes, scones, granola bars, and muffins. Kids will go home with all of their delicious treats and a Companion Bakeshop apron.

The Story of Companion

Companion Bakeshop was founded in 2006 out of a love for hearty sourdough. In those early days, Companion’s founder Erin spent long hours in the kitchen hand-mixing all of the dough, baking and packing loaves of bread, and then selling them at the farmers’ markets. The work of those first days was made lighter with the help of a supportive community; our community lies at the heart of everything we do at Companion. We love that we still see the faces of first customers!
