ALL CLASSES/EVENTS/WORKSHOPS/DEMOS HELD ON THE WESTSIDE at 2341 Mission St, Santa Cruz, CA 95060.

 

Price listed is per person. If you are planning on registering for more than one person, please make sure to purchase a ticket for each person in your group (can be on the same order).

If you are purchasing a Class/Workshop as a gift, please be sure to register under the name of the person who will be attending.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • 2 weeks+ before class - credit towards future class.
  • 7 days before class - $50 cancellation fee & remaining balance becomes credit towards future class.
  • 6 days or less before class - no credits or refunds.

Due to planning, materials, and preparation, once a class is booked we cannot offer full refunds. In addition, if a class does not meet a minimum of registrations Companion will postpone or credit the class and notify all registered persons. Kids Holiday Party!

Join us for our annual kids holiday baking party! This Friday will be a holiday decorating bonanza - there will be sprinkles, frosting and holiday cheer! Kids will go home with a box of delicious and expertly decorated sugar cookies.

Sourdough Basics: Simple Sourdough at Home

In this class we take you through the process of baking bread at home. We begin with the care and keeping of sourdough sourdough starter, then take you through the steps of mixing, fermenting, shaping and baking a delicious rustic loaf. You will go home with a sourdough starter and a loaf ready to be baked off in your oven after class, and a bread basket.

 

Sourdough Next Steps: Baking Whole Wheat Loaves at Home

In this class we take you through the process of baking 100% whole wheat bread at home. We begin with the care and keeping of sourdough sourdough starter, then take you through the steps of mixing, fermenting, shaping and baking a delicious rustic loaf. You will go home with a sourdough starter and a loaf ready to be baked off in your oven after class, and a bread basket.

 

Winter Pie Lab 

Saturday, January 28th @ 3:00-5:00pm

It’s high time for Pie Time! In our Winter Pie Lab you will learn the essentials of pie baking. We will hone in on making an all butter pie dough, weave lattice, and mix delicious apple filling.

 

FEBRUARY 2023

Semi-Sourdough Cinnamon Rolls

In this class we will make semi-sourdough cinnamon rolls and delicious cream cheese icing! You will go home with rolls ready to bake at home, and icing to dress them.
