SEPTEMBER

Gluten Free Buckwheat Blueberry Scones - Free Community Demo!

Join us in the workshop and learn to bake Companion’s signature Gluten free scone! This half hour long demo will feature the new Buckwheat Blueberry Scone Mix Baking for sale in the Companion Pantry. We will go over the essentials for a successful scone bake, answer all questions, and share some warm scones after the demo! 

 

Sourdough Basics - Baking a Hearth Loaf at Home

In this class we take you through the full process of baking bread at home. We begin with the care and keeping of sourdough sourdough starter, then take you through the steps of mixing, fermenting, shaping and baking a delicious rustic loaf. You will go home with a sourdough starter, a warm loaf of bread, a loaf ready to be baked off in your oven after class, and a bread basket.  

 

OCTOBER

Fall Pie Lab

It’s high time for Pie Time! In our Fall Pie Lab you will learn the essentials of pie baking. We will make an all butter pie dough, weave lattice, mix filling, blind bake a pie shell, and build mini and full size pies. You will go home with oodles of pie, and all the skills you need to create a Thanksgiving showstopper!  

 

Roasting Pumpkins for Fall Baking - Free Community Demo!

Let’s talk squash! From Blue Hubbard, to Honey Nut to the classic Sugar pie Pumpkin, and beyond this demo will guide you through selecting the right pumpkin for your baking project. We will also go over how to safely prep squash for the oven, and process it for the perfect bake.

  

Kids Halloween Workshop

This workshop is full of fun and spooky treats! We will make creepy cupcakes, ghostly rice-krispy treat pops and more… Join us for an afternoon full of baking and decorating Halloween delights.

DECEMBER

Holiday Baking 

Monday, December 5, 2022 5:30pm 

Cost: $100 

Come get cozy with us for a sweet holiday baking workshop! In this class we will whip up some favorites ~ gingerbread tea cake, cinnamon rolls with cream cheese icing and peppermint chocolate crinkle cookies. This class goes over a variety of baking styles, and mixing methods. You will go home with warm cookies and cake, and rolls ready to bake the next morning! 

 

Kids Holiday Party!

Friday, December 16, 2022 5:30pm-7:30pm

Cost: $85 

Join us for our annual kids holiday baking party! This Friday will be a holiday decorating bonanza - there will be sprinkles, frosting and holiday cheer! Kids will go home with a box of delicious and expertly decorated sugar cookies and chocolate cupcakes.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations will be accepted up to the week before for a full refund. Due to planning, materials,  and preparation. Classes cancelled under a week, will not be given a refund, class change, gift card, etc.
